A DJ’s work lives wherever he last uploaded it. NV’s sets were spread across TikTok, SoundCloud, YouTube and Mixcloud, and there was no one address to send somebody who asked what he does. A profile on any one of them shows a slice. Four links ask the other person to do the work.
One address, and what that buys
Four running playlists, updated as the sets happen: jazz house, chill house, Amapiano and Afro, and disco. Under them a row of selected mixes you can drag through, among them Redrum x Plain Jane, Peaches, Freaks and Feelings, Breaking the Disco Chains, and a wedding set.
Press play on any tile and a 45-second cut starts in a small player at the foot of the page. A sampler rather than a jukebox, which is the right call: enough to know whether you want the set, then the tile opens the full mix where NV posts it.
Tidiness was not really the point. Somebody looking you up finds either a site or a profile, and the two say different things about whether this is a hobby.
The real thing
Impact
One address for a pile of mixes that used to live on three different platforms.
