Sunshine Farm is a working sunflower farm, and many of the people who work it have disabilities. They tend the fields and make the sunflower artwork and souvenirs the farm sells.
The farm puts it in two lines. May kakayahan ang may kapansanan, people with disabilities are capable. Nagbibigay hindi lang nabibigyan, they give, they aren’t only given to. The site has to turn visitors into donors without slipping into charity language. The farm doesn’t talk about itself that way, so we don’t either.
How donations work
Donors pay by bank transfer. The site gives the farm’s BPI details, walks through the transfer step by step, and asks for the receipt afterwards by email or Messenger.
We went this way because the farm already had the account, so donations could start the week the page went up instead of waiting on a payment provider. Somebody at the farm matches every receipt to its transfer, so they know exactly who gave and can thank each of them.

Impact
Donations through the site go to the farm, and the farm pays people with disabilities to work it.
