Nobody is paid what their contract says. Income tax comes off, and so do SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG, each on its own schedule. Four deductions, four sets of rules, and the number that actually lands in your account is none of the ones you were quoted.

What it did

All four in one place. Put in what you earn and it worked out income tax, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG together, then showed the result daily, monthly and yearly.

The three periods are the part people actually used. A salary gets quoted monthly, a budget gets kept weekly, and tax gets filed yearly, so the same figure has to be readable three ways depending on which question you are asking that day.

Who it was for

Anybody who wants to know what they are really taking home and cannot just ring an accountant. Not filing, not advice, and not a substitute for either. One honest number, in the language a person would use to ask for it.

Why it is off

It shipped, and it is off while it gets rebuilt. Not withdrawn, not abandoned, and nothing went wrong with it.

That is worth being plain about, because a shelved app usually means a failure and this one does not. The same calculator is coming back, better.

What “better” looks like

We are not going to describe the new one until it exists. A calculator is only ever as right as the tables behind it, and the tables change — which is most of the work, and the part that has to be correct before any of it is worth reinstalling.
