People were guessing. Somebody asks what a drive to the province will cost, or what is fair to ask a friend to chip in for petrol, and the honest answer needs numbers nobody works out in their head: distance against fuel efficiency against the price at the pump, then tolls on top.
One screen, one answer
Put in the distance, your car’s fuel efficiency, the petrol price and the tolls, one way or return, and it tells you what the trip costs. Count whatever else you want counted. Then it stops. No account, no saved trips, nothing asking you to come back.
Why it works anywhere
The numbers come from you, and that is deliberate. Any car, any route, any price you can read off the sign at the station. Nothing to wait on, nothing that goes stale, and no part of the country it does not cover.
